The purpose of this activity is to (1) introduce the parameter of water hygene as physic, chemistry, and microbiology parameterto the community service participants. It was done through training and maintenence the drinking water processorfrom the well using adsorption system; and (2) increase the participants’ knowledge about the correlation between clean water and water born diseases prevention. The public targetswere 35 audiencesfrom Donotirto citizen, community leader, and womens community. This methods used were programme socialization, lecture, discussion, training and maintenance, and evaluation. The findings are that the participants’ knowledge about thehygene water parameters as physic, chemistry, and microbiology was increased. Drinking water treatment device had been produced and used. The quality of water in the well of Donotirto Kretek Bantul is better and qualified the quality standard tested by Health Department of Indonesia. Hence the society now consumes hygene and health water. The participants’ knowledgeabout the correlation between the hygene water and water born diseases prevention was increased

Community empowerment through students’ community service aimsto improve the community skill in producing science props from inorganicwaste materials by mentoring method as Trauma Healing media in sciencelearning. The subject of this community service was Kepuharjo, Cangkringanvillagers. The implementation of thiscommunity service was devided into fourstages ie; first university students designing and creating science props, secondthe designing and creating science props workshop for the community, thirdcreating science props by community with students mentoring, fourth displaying the science props that has been produced by the community. The display was held in two schools namely SMP Negeri 2 Cangkringan and SD Negeri Kepuharjo. The result shows thatthe community is able to create science props. Eight science props unitshad been tested in those schools. Based on students and teachers responses to the science props, they were satisfied. It is indicated that the science props made by community and used as Trauma Healing media in learning science were effective

This community service generally aims to increase the capacity of Incubator Bussiness Unit PSP - KUMKM and SME tenants so as to improve the students’ technoprenership skill. The first year program was aimed at: (1) establishing the productivity of Business Incubator Unit based on the marketing point, the local potention and ease of technology; (2) strengthening the management of the productive unit.The establishment of this business unit starting from the selection of candidates tenants who have high motivation and willingness effort. The three people chosen werefrom the alumni of D3 Agribusiness and Technology Agricultural Production.Jackfruit, salak, pineapple and apple were choosen to be processed into chips. The results already achieved in the first year were: (1) the productive business unit at Business Incubator was established; (2) management of Food Industry Household licenses (PI-RT) was in the process; (3) the fruit chips began the production on a regular basis with a daily production capacity reached 5 kg; (4) interlacement business partnerships with some relevant stakeholders have been conducted

The purpose of this activity is to (1) provide an alternative freshwaterfish post-harvest processing; (2) producing an acceptable using waste fish headsand bones; (3) provide an alternative to consumers in the form of productsmade from freshwater fish that are high in calcium, ready for consumption andhave long-term expired time; and (4) developing agri-based home Industry.These research subjects were Merapi Bangkit dan Sumber Makmur farmergroups in Teplok and Mudal, Argomulyo Village, Cangkringan, Yogyakarta.The method carried out was discussion on proper fish process, hygiene sanitation, food licensing, packaging, marketing strategies and product manufacturing. Competencies evaluation was conducted at the end of the program by producing some product. The evaluation characteristics items were: flavor, color, aroma, texture, innovation and the price per pack. The results show that the alternative fish processing using fish waste that have a long-term expired date can be implemented

Koperasi Sahabat Sejahtera as the division of post-harvest processing and marketing Appoli face some productions problems namely unavailability ofproduction equipment ranging from the drying process up to packaging. Postharvest equipment owned is the result of the hire from Tani Makmurusing system-processing services. This condition affected the efficiency of the business, the quantity of cooperative's income and the quantity of cooperative members. In order to overcome these problems some community services conducted as follows: (1) The introduction of post harvest handling technologies include: grading tool and blower mounted on a grading tool, table sorting, pallet, digital scales, water tested MD 7822; (2) increasing marketing quality through producing of a media campaign and improving the quality of the packages. The findings are Appoli able to increase production capacity and enhance its role in the development of organic rice and highly motivated to promote organic agriculture and increase farmers' income

This activity aims to facilitate the development of SME’s Shuttlecock inSukoharjo. It was become a business cluster for supporting local economic development. The SME that becomes the partners in this activity were Aiwan Shuttlecock and Delima Shuttlecock. There are three activities which have been done for them, namely: production management, marketing, and accounting. The results of this activity involve: (1) SME entrepreneurs understood the good production process of shuttlecock based on the work operational standards; (2) SME entrepreneurs were able to use marketing medias to promote shuttlecock product in the form online medias; and (3) SME used accounting for financial bookeeping and accessing financial resource both government fund and private fund. In the future, the government of Sukoharjo District can promote SME’s Shuttlecock as local economic icon

This commuity service aims to improve (1) the professionalism of teachers in schools in developing ideational learning based worksheet in order to improve the creativity of the learners; (2) the ability of the teachers to develop the test items measuring the creativity as well as the performance using QUEST program. This community service activities was carried out through a series of activities such as lectures, question and answer, discussion, practice, and mentoring. Participants were 15 teachers from subject teachers deliberation of Sleman, and 15 teachers of the subject teachers Deliberation of Yogyakarta. The materials were about deepening the concept/insights on ideational learning, forming ideational learning based worksheet, developing the ideational learning based evaluation tools and analyzing ideational learning based evaluation items. The results showthat the teachers are able to design the ideational evaluation worksheet. It is obtained from the performance of the desaining and drafting taskbook evaluation sheets. For the analysis, the participants are able to use the QUEST program analyzing multiple-choice and descriptions items in the worksheet

The purpose of community service is to (1) increase the awareness towards the environment; (2) improving the quality of life; and (3) improvelife peace and comfort. The method used is socialization, composting trainingand craft-making training busing household waste. The results of community service is the socienty's standard of living of as individuals and groups was improved through waste management business, the public awareness in saving the environment was increased. The quality of urban environment with waste management was increased through the applying of 3R (Reuse, Reduce and Recycle) and the society's cognitive and conative aspects were also improved regarding to the integrated waste management
